Two laser pointer products have been recalled due to eye safety hazards. Both are silver-colored combination laser and LED devices sold in silver metal boxes: a 3-in-1 laser and LED pen powered by four 1.5V LR41 button cells, and a 2-in-1 laser pointer and expandable LED light powered by three 1.5V LR41 button cells. These products contain class 3A lasers that can damage sight if the direct beam or even a reflected beam strikes an unprotected eye. The products are labeled as "Class IIIA Laser Product" but do not comply with the relevant European safety standard EN 60825, as class 3 laser pointers should not be sold for consumer use.
