Nautilus is recalling Schwinn 460 elliptical exercise trainer equipment because the foot plates can detach from the machine during use, creating a fall hazard. The recalled machines are 73 inches tall and 54 inches long, constructed of gray anodized aluminum with two moving and two fixed black rubberized handlebars, heart rate sensors on the fixed handlebars, a touch-screen console, an adjustable fan, an orange water bottle holder, and a Schwinn logo medallion on the bottom right of the base.

Consumers who own a recalled Schwinn 460 elliptical should stop using the machine immediately and contact Nautilus for a free repair kit, which includes an extended warranty.
