Nygala Corp. is recalling Halloween Projection Flashlights because they can overheat, blister, and melt, creating fire and burn hazards. The recalled flashlights are black and orange plastic, 6 1/2 inches long, and feature Halloween designs like pumpkins, bats, witches, haunted houses, and cats on the handle. They come with six interchangeable plastic lenses that project different images and run on two AA batteries. The packaging displays "Flomo," "HW189," or UPC 677916518266.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately stop using the flashlights, remove and properly discard the batteries, and return the flashlights to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
