Mark of Fifth Avenue has recalled children's robes sold under the Star Art in Linen brand because they fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear, creating a burn hazard. The recalled robes are 100% polyester and were available in six children's sizes (2, 3-4, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8, and 10-12) in seven colors: black, navy, blue plaid, red plaid, red, royal blue, and gray. The long-sleeved robes feature two front pockets, two side seam belt loops with a matching belt, and have a sewn-in label indicating "Made in China" and "100% Polyester."
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately remove the recalled robes from children and contact Mark of Fifth Avenue. To receive a full refund, consumers must cut the robe in half, photograph the cut garment, and email the photos to mofaproductsafety@gmail.com. The company states that all known purchasers will be contacted.
