Target has recalled its Bullseye's Playground Metal Mailbox due to a sharp mail slot that can cause lacerations. The recalled mailboxes are red or white, measure approximately 7 inches long by 3 inches wide by 10 inches tall, and have "Letters to Santa" printed on the front. They were sold under item numbers 234-17-8556 (single mailbox) and 234-20-9275 (two-count pack). The item number can be found on a white sticker on the bottom of in-store mailboxes or on the inner packaging of online purchases.
Consumers who have the recalled mailbox should immediately stop using it and return it to any Target store for a full refund in the form of a Target gift card. Alternatively, consumers can contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to mail the mailbox back for a full refund in the form of a Target gift card.
