Leisure Time Products is recalling Backyard Discovery Big Brutus, Little Brutus, and Mini Brutus metal swing sets manufactured between March 2019 and July 2020. These swing sets feature a green top tube with white legs and green cross braces. The recalled models have manufacture codes 03/2019-O, 02/2020-T, 03/2020-T, 04/2020-T, 05/2020-O, and 07/2020-O, which can be found on a label on the leg of the swing set.
The attachment connecting the swing hanger to the top tube on these swing sets can fail, creating an injury hazard. According to the recall, consumers should immediately stop using the affected swing sets and contact Leisure Time Products to request a free repair kit. The manufacturer is contacting all purchasers directly.
