What happened

Cheyenne Products is recalling multiple styles of metal folding chairs and barstools sold under the Mainstay brand name. The weld that attaches the legs to the seat bottom can break, creating a fall hazard. The recalled products are folding chairs and barstools with padded seats upholstered in vinyl or microfiber. Consumers can identify affected products by looking for a white sticker label on the bottom of the seat that includes the name Cheyenne Products or Cheyenne Industries along with a production date, and another white sticker label displaying a barcode with the model number and UPC. The affected models include various configurations with seat heights of 18, 24, or 29 inches and paint colors ranging from black to bronze, with production dates spanning from 2013 to 2021.
