What happened

K & M International is recalling 42 models of Wild Republic Slap Watches that contain coin cell batteries. The watches feature silicone bracelets with animal designs or historical figures such as wolves, spiders, elephants, dolphins, frogs, pandas, mermaids, or King Tut on the face. The back of each watch is marked "Made in China" with K & M initials. The watches are intended for children over age three.

The coin cell batteries in these watches can fall out, creating risks of battery ingestion and choking hazards to young children. According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately remove the slap watches from children, stop using them, and contact Wild Republic for a full refund.
