What happened

Creative Heating Solutions brand portable space heaters (models CH-750, CH-750FC, CH-1500, and CH-1500FC) are being recalled because loose electrical connections can cause the heater to overheat and create a fire hazard. These heaters are wooden on three sides with metal on the fourth side and feature a front vent, clear plastic faceplate with six black buttons, and typically have the brand name and model number on the rear metal panel.

According to the recall, affected consumers should immediately stop using these heaters and destroy them, as a remedy is no longer available.

This recall involves Creative Heating Solutions brand portable space heaters with model number CH-750, CH-750FC, CH-1500 or CH-1500FC. Some units have "Creative Heating Solutions" stamped into the rear metal panel and the model number on a white label on the rear metal panel.
