AmerTac is recalling three models of night lights due to a fire and burn hazard. The affected models are 71193, 71194, and 327879, all of which have "KML" molded on the back along with other markings including "ETL," the AmerTac logo, and the model number. Model 71193 is a square-shaped white unit with a flat translucent window and color-changing button, while models 71194 and 327879 resemble computer mice with white plastic housings and inset translucent windows. An electrical short circuit in these night lights can cause them to overheat and smolder or melt, posing risks of burns to consumers and potential fire.
Affected consumers should stop using the recalled night lights immediately and unplug them from the wall. Consumers should contact AmerTac for instructions on how to receive a full refund.

Three night light models are being recalled: model numbers 71193, 71194 and 327879. Only those with KML molded on the back are being recalled. All three models have KML, ETL, the AmerTac™ logo and the model number molded on the back of the night lights' plastic housing. Model number 71193 is a square shaped, white plastic unit with a flat translucent square window on the front and a button for changing the screen color. Model 71194 and 327879 resemble a computer mouse with white plastic housing and inset translucent windows on the front and sides.
