North America is recalling All Power portable gasoline generators with model numbers APGG6000 (6,000 watts) and APGG7500 (7,500 watts) due to a fuel tank leak that poses explosion, fire, and burn hazards. The recalled generators are black and red units with a black fuel tank on top. Model APGG6000 units have UPC code 84676600055 3 with serial numbers JD29014S18035 through JD29014U020742, while model APGG7500 units have UPC code 84676600056 0 with serial numbers JD42014S16027 through JD42014T210606. The model number appears on both sides of the unit, and the UPC code and serial number are on a silver plate on the upper right side of the back panel.
Consumers who own a recalled generator should immediately stop using it and contact J.D. North America to schedule a free replacement fuel tank, including installation.
