Is my product affected?

ALEX Jr. Baby Builder, First Pops and First Snaps

  • Brand ALEX Toys, New Jersey

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Alex Toys is recalling three infant building play sets because small plastic parts can detach and pose a choking hazard to young children. The recalled products are the Baby Builder (model 1982), First Pops (model 1981P), and First Snaps (model 1981S), all produced before November 2010. These sets contain colorful plastic shapes designed to be pulled, pushed, snapped, and twisted, and come in stackable jars with either 14 or 26 pieces. For the First Snaps sets, consumers should check for specific batch codes listed on a sticker above the UPC code on the container.

Consumers who have a recalled set should immediately remove it from children's access and contact ALEX for a prepaid shipping envelope to return the product. Once ALEX receives the returned set, the company will send the consumer a full refund.
