John Deere Recalls High-Performance Gator Utility Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

What happened

John Deere is recalling High-Performance Gator RSX860i TB and RSX860i TE utility vehicles manufactured in June 2016 with serial numbers beginning with 1M0860T. These four-wheel, side-by-side utility vehicles have a green hood and yellow rims. The fuel hose in these vehicles could leak or separate when the fuel system is pressurized, which creates a fire hazard.

According to the recall, affected consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair. John Deere is contacting all registered owners directly. Consumers can find a complete list of affected serial numbers on John Deere's website. The serial number is located on the frame at the rear of the machine above the hitch.
