Rope Lights
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
CO2UCH rope lights, which are 9-foot decorative lights in a white plastic cord, are being recalled because the controller box that operates light effects like flashing and chasing can short circuit. The controller is identified by "CHENG TUNG, MODEL CT-028" printed on one side and features an animal shape resembling a bear or dog wearing a bow tie on the other side, with the animal's feet serving as control buttons. The lights were sold in blue packaging labeled "ROPE LIGHTS, 9 FT. OF TWINKLE FUN, CO2UCH, MADE IN CHINA."
The short circuit hazard poses risks of electric shock, fire, and burns to consumers. Because the manufacturer is no longer in business, no recall remedy is available. Affected consumers should discard the product and not donate or resell it.
