What happened

Black & Decker has recalled 12-inch Industry & Construction miter saws (model numbers 3660 TY1 and 3680 TY1) with charcoal gray housing and date codes ranging from 9201 through 9340. Bolts on these saws can loosen, which may cause the blade to detach and create a risk of lacerations to users.

Consumers who own a recalled saw should stop using it immediately and call Black & Decker to receive a free replacement bolt to repair the saw. Affected consumers can find their model number on the nameplate on the top of the saw's housing and their date code stamped into the end cap or back of the saw.
