Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
SCOTT is recalling model year 2016 road bicycles equipped with SYNCROS FL 0.1 seat posts because the seat post can break, creating a fall hazard for the rider. The recall affects multiple SCOTT bicycle models including the Addict and Solace series, as well as certain frame sets and seat posts sold separately. The bicycles were sold in black, gray, and white with yellow, orange, green, or blue decals. Consumers can verify whether their bicycle is included by checking the serial number printed on a white sticker and embossed on the underside of the frame near the pedals against the complete list available at http://www.scott-sports.com/global/en/company/safety-and-recalls.
Affected consumers should immediately stop riding the recalled bicycles and take them to an authorized SCOTT dealer to have a free replacement seat post installed.
