Black Diamond is recalling all sizes of its Camalot and Camalot Ultralight camming devices, which are used to secure ropes while rock climbing. The devices can come apart during use and fail, creating a fall hazard. The recall affects Camalots in sizes 0.3 to 6 with manufacturing codes from 5133 to 6067, and Camalot Ultralights in sizes 0.4 to 4 with manufacturing codes from 5309 to 6061. Only camming devices with unformed axle ends are included in the recall, and manufacturing codes can be found printed on the underside of the cams.
