The recalled lamps are white and produce either soft white (3000 Kelvin) or bright white (5000 Kelvin) light. Affected lamps have one of four item numbers—"L14P38D30KFL," "L14P38D50KFL," "RLP381430WL," or "GVRLP381430WL"—and specific date codes printed on the white plastic heat sink just above the screw-in base.

If you own one of these lamps, you should immediately shut off power to the lights and remove the lamp to check its item number and date code against the recall list. Once you've confirmed you have a recalled lamp, contact TCP to receive a free replacement lamp with installation instructions.
