What happened

Limoss has recalled AKKU-PACK rechargeable lithium ion battery power packs that are sold as accessories for power recliners and lift chairs made by Palliser, Flexsteel, and Best Home Furnishing. The battery packs can overheat and create a fire hazard. The affected units are model number ZB-B1800 with code MC 160 and date codes between 11-0102011 and 6-14-2012, which are identified by a white sticker on the side of the black battery pack measuring 6 inches long by 3 inches wide.

According to the recall notice, consumers who have these battery power packs should immediately stop using them and contact Limoss for a free replacement.
