What happened

Felt Bicycles is recalling all model year 2015 Double Double 30, NINEe 20, and Edict 1 mountain bicycles because their carbon fiber seat posts can crack and break, which poses injury and fall hazards to riders. The Double Double 30 was sold in blue, the NINEe 20 in gray and orange, and the Edict 1 in black and blue. The model name appears on the top tube of the bicycle, and the Felt logo is located on the down tube of the Double Double 30 and NINEe 20 or the top tube of the Edict 1.

According to the recall notice, consumers who own affected bicycles should immediately stop using them and contact their local Felt Bicycles dealer for a free inspection and seat post replacement.
