What happened

L.L. Bean is recalling Stabilicers Lite ice cleats, model number BNX9, sold in blue, orange, and pink in sizes small through extra large. The elastic harness system that attaches the cleats to footwear can detach during use, creating a fall hazard. Black Stabilicers Lite cleats are not affected by this recall. The product name appears in raised letters on the underside of the harness.

If you own a recalled pair of these cleats, you should immediately stop using them and contact L.L. Bean to request either a replacement or a refund.
