Home Sweet Playhome Canopies
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
The Land of Nod has recalled children's canopies sold under the "Home Sweet Playhome" model name due to entrapment and strangulation hazards. These canopies are made from 100% cotton gingham fabric draped from a bamboo hoop and suspended from the ceiling, measuring 36 inches wide and 9 feet tall with an open bottom, a door, and three multi-paned windows. The recalled models were sold in blue and pink versions and have "The Land of Nod" printed on a woven label. Canopies sold after October 2005 are not included in the recall. A child's head could become entrapped in the window openings, creating the hazard.
Consumers should immediately stop using the canopies and keep them away from children. To receive a remedy, consumers should contact the Land of Nod to obtain a free replacement fabric portion of the canopy and a $15 gift card.
