GEM Stores is recalling Christmas lights due to undersized wires that can easily pull out of the plugs and light sockets, creating electric shock and fire hazards. The recalled products include multiple light sets in various styles—50 window ice lights, 100 icicle lights, 140 action/chaser lights, 100 mini light sets, 50 miniature lights, 100 miniature lights, and 100 miniature light sets—sold under the Santa's Christmas Magic and Trim a Tree brand names. All recalled lights were made in China and can be identified by a GEM Stores orange price sticker on the box.
Consumers who have purchased these lights should stop using them immediately and return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
