The recall affects two models: the ESQ30B, which has a black powder coated outer shell, and the ESQ30S, which has a stainless steel outer shell. Both models display the Masterbuilt Electric Smokehouse logo on the front door, and the model number can be found on a metal plate on the back of the unit.

The smokers cook food slowly at lower temperatures and use wood chips to produce smoke inside the unit for flavor.
