Farm Teether Rattle
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Tiffany and Company is recalling Farm Teether Rattles designed for children ages 3 months and up due to a safety hazard involving the metal bar across the center of the rattle. The bar can break off during use when its soldered joints fail, causing small round beads and farm animal figures to separate from the product. These small pieces pose an aspiration hazard to young children, and the breakage can also create sharp, ragged edges on the ring that may cause lacerations.
The recalled rattle is a hollow sterling silver ring approximately 3 inches in diameter with a bar across its center that holds three farm animal charms (sheep, duck, and cow) and two beads that rotate along the bar. The product is inscribed with "© 2002 TIFFANY & CO. 925." Consumers who own this rattle can return it to Tiffany and Company for a full refund, store credit, or a replacement rattle.
