Sycamore Kids Inc. and the CPSC have announced a recall of Mountain Buggy Urban Single and Mountain Buggy Urban Double jogging strollers. The handlebar on these strollers can crack or break, which may cause it to detach during use and potentially injure young children. The recalled strollers are metal-framed with cloth seats and sun canopies, available in navy, red, black, silver, and orange. The Urban Single strollers have item number U1204-002 with serial numbers between 000000 and 0003342, while the Urban Double strollers have item number U2204-002 with serial numbers between 000000 and 006957. The model and serial numbers can be found on the back of the metal plate above the footrest that displays the Mountain Buggy logo and "URBAN."
To address this issue, consumers with recalled strollers should contact Sycamore Kids to locate an authorized repair center, where they can receive a free replacement handlebar ratchet.

A metal plate above the footrest shows the Mountain Buggy logo with "Mountain Buggy" written underneath. "URBAN" also is written on the metal plates. The recalled Mountain Buggy Urban Single strollers have item number U1204-002, and serial numbers between 000000 and 0003342. The recalled Mountain Buggy Urban Double strollers have item number U2204-002 and serial numbers between 000000 and 006957. The serial number and model number are on the back of the metal plate.
