Turbo Power Inc. is recalling multiple models of electric hand-held hair dryers because they lack an immersion protection device that would prevent electrocution if the dryer falls into water. The recalled models include the Turbo 1500, Twin Turbo 2600, Turbo 2800 Silverado, Twin Turbo 2800, Mega Turbo 2500, Twin Turbo Ionic 3000, Parlux 3000, Mega Turbo 3000, Coldmatic 1500, Turbo Millennium 2000, Turbo 2200, and Super Turbo 1900. These dryers have pistol grips with black, black and red, black and gray, or red and ivory plastic casing, two-prong power cords, and are labeled "Turbo Power" or "PIBBS" with model numbers and "110V/60HZ" voltage markings. The boxes were labeled "Made in Italy."
Consumers who own one of the recalled hair dryers should return it to either the retail store where it was purchased or mail it to Turbo Power Inc. at 31-40 Downing Street, Flushing, NY 11354 for a free replacement. Turbo Power will reimburse consumers for shipping costs.

These electric hair dryers are not equipped with an immersion protection device to prevent electrocution, if the hair dryer falls into water. Such electric shock protection devices are required by industry standards for all electric hand-held hair dryers.
Return the hair dryer to either the retail store where purchased or to Turbo Power for a free replacement. Mail to: Turbo Power Inc., 31-40 Downing Street, Flushing, NY 11354. Consumers will be reimbursed for shipping costs.
