API Outdoors is recalling two models of hunting treestands: the API Hi-Point Cable Cat Climbing Treestand (Model #CC501) and the API Buckmaster Grand Slam Climbing Treestand (Model #GS3800BM). These treestands have olive green frames, camo seats and seatbacks with black nylon cinch straps, and a yellow warning label. The cable that secures the treestand to the tree can break, which could cause hunters to fall and suffer serious injuries.

Consumers who own these recalled treestands should stop using them immediately and contact API Outdoors to receive a free replacement cable.
