Adams Manufacturing Corp. is recalling folding chairs sold under the brand names Adams Quik Fold Chair (individual chairs) and Quik Fold Café Set (sets containing a table and two chairs). The chairs, made of white, green, or sandstone molded plastic with a label reading "Adams Quick Fold Chair" on the backrest, have defectively assembled legs that can bend out of shape during use, causing the chair to collapse and potentially injuring consumers who fall. The recalled individual chair item numbers are 8575-48-3750, 8575-16-3750, and 8575-38-3750, while the recalled chair set item numbers are 8590-48-3600, 8590-16-3600, and 8590-38-3600.
According to the recall notice, consumers should stop using the folding chairs immediately and return them to the place where they were purchased. Upon return, consumers will receive either a replacement chair or a refund.
