What happened

Sherwood SCUBA LLC is recalling Maximus regulators because the second stage orifices can be cracked, bent, or broken, which can cause a loss of breathing air underwater. The recall affects three models: SRB5600 with serial numbers K600001 through K611834 (Yoke Connection), SRB5600D2 with serial numbers DK60000 through DK62000 (Din-Style Connection), and SRB5600CE with serial numbers EK60001 through EK62000 (Yoke Connection). The serial numbers are laser marked on the top of the second stage case next to the mouthpiece.

Consumers who own a recalled regulator should stop using it immediately and contact their nearest authorized Sherwood retailer for a free repair.
