The recalled models include rear-engine mowers with model numbers such as 30560, 30560x5, 30560x60, 30560x99, 30565, 30575x7, 30575x8, 30575x31, 30577x7, 30577x8, 30577x31, 502.251250, 502.256210, 502.256220, 502.270210, 502.270211, 536.270212, MOM6115A59, and MOM6115A89, as well as mid-engine mowers with model numbers 309005X10, 309304X8, and 309306X89. The brand name appears on the front or side of the mower, and the model number can be found under the seat or on a nameplate on the rear.
The fuel tank in these mowers can crack and leak fuel, creating a burn or fire hazard. Because Murray Inc. is out of business and no remedy is available, consumers should stop using the recalled mowers immediately and discard or destroy the product.
