Horizon Hobby is recalling power supply units and chargers sold with HobbyZone Super Cub S radio-controlled aircraft (model numbers HBZ8100 and HBZ8180). The recalled power supply (model HBZ1004, a black unit with blue label measuring 2½ by 1¾ by 1¼ inches) and DC auxiliary charger (model HBZ1003, a black unit with blue label measuring 5 by 2½ by 1¾ inches) can overcharge the battery, creating a fire hazard and risk of property damage.
If you own one of these aircraft, you should stop using the recalled power supply and charger immediately and contact Horizon Hobby for a replacement AC charger. You can identify your aircraft model number on the packaging.
