Felt Bicycles is recalling specific triathlon bicycle models from 2008 and 2010 because the steer tube on the fork can break, which could cause a rider to lose control and get injured. The recall affects 2008 S22 and S32 models and 2010 S32, B12, B14, and B16 models. These bicycles have aluminum frames with carbon fiber forks and can be identified by the Felt logo on the seat, frame, and tires, along with the model number printed on the frame next to the logo. The 2008 S22 came in gloss white, the 2008 S32 in gloss red, the 2010 S32 in gloss black, the 2010 B12 in gloss white, the 2010 B14 in gloss pewter, and the 2010 B16 in matte black.
If you own one of these recalled bicycles, you should stop using it immediately and contact your local Felt Bicycles dealer. The dealer will perform a free inspection and replace the steer tube at no cost.
