Regency Seating is recalling Oakmont fabric stackable chairs sold exclusively by Global Industrial Equipment due to a hazard where the weld connecting the legs to the seat can break, causing the chair to fail and creating a fall risk. The recalled chairs are four-legged stackable chairs with metal frames and padded fabric cushions in black, blue, or burgundy. They can be identified by model numbers WB240168BK, CN240168BK, WB240168BL, CN240168BL, WB240168BY, or CN240168BY, along with a white label under the seat showing the manufacture date "5-2011" and part number "PO000837."
Consumers who own these recalled chairs should immediately stop using them and contact Regency for a free replacement chair.
