What happened

FoodState is recalling bottles of MegaFood One Daily Tablets because the packaging does not have child-resistant protection as required by law. The bottles are brown glass containers with yellow labels containing the MegaFood brand name and images of vegetables. The recalled products include 60-tablet bottles (product code 51494 10151 with lot numbers 10613, 10724-10728, 11246, and 12191), 90-tablet bottles (product code 51494 10152), and 180-tablet bottles (product code 51494 10153). The tablets contain iron, which can cause serious injury or death if young children ingest multiple tablets.

Consumers should immediately place any recalled bottles out of reach of children. According to the recall notice, affected consumers should return recalled bottles to the original place of purchase for either a full refund or a replacement product.

Hazard

The recalled supplement bottles are brown glass bottles that contain MegaFood One Daily Tablets. The bottles have a yellow label on the front with the words "MegaFood," "Fresh From Farm To Tablet," "One Daily," "Nourish," "Balance" and "Replenish" printed above a picture of vegetables. Recalled bottles have the following amounts, product codes and lot numbers: Amount Product Code Lot Numbers 60 tablets 51494 10151 10613, 10724 through 10728, 11246 and 12191 90 tablets 51494 10152 180 tablets 51494 10153 The amount is on the bottom right of the front label. The product code and lot numbers are on the left side of the front label.
