Apollo Presentation Products light boxes (models LB100, LB101, LB102, and LB110) are being recalled because they have loose wires and lack adequate grounding, creating risks of fire, electrocution, and shock. These portable light boxes are white metal units with a fluorescent light and Plexiglas viewing plate, used for viewing film, slides, and transparencies. They were sold under the brand name "GLOWPRO PORTABLE LIGHT BOX" and were made in China. The model number can be found on a sticker on the unit's side that reads "Portable Light Box...CSA." Light boxes bearing a UL logo are not included in this recall.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately stop using the recalled light boxes and contact ACCO Brands Customer Care for instructions on how to return the units for a refund.

The light boxes have loose wires and lack adequate grounding, presenting fire, electrocution and shock hazards to consumers.
Consumers should stop using the recalled light boxes immediately, and call ACCO Brands Customer Care (which is now handling this recall) for instructions on returning the projectors to the company, for a refund.
The recalled Apollo light boxes, used to view film, slides and transparencies, are models LB100, LB101, LB102 and LB110. The model number is located on a sticker affixed to the unit's side. The sticker also reads in part, "Portable Light Box...CSA." The light box consists of a white metal box, containing a fluorescent light, and a Plexiglas viewing plate that slides into two black metal guides on top of the metal box. The light box has a folding handle and tilt stand, and it can be wall mounted. The light boxes were sold in a box labeled in part, "APOLLO PRESENTATION PRODUCTS, GLOWPRO PORTABLE LIGHT BOX, Made in China." A photo of the product and the model number are on the box. Apollo light boxes that are marked with a UL logo are not part of this recall.
