Bel Air Lighting has recalled outdoor wall-mount lanterns due to electrical hazards. The lanterns are made of cast aluminum in a rust color with beveled glass and feature a question mark-shaped metal connector between the lantern body and wall-mount plate. An electrical short circuit can occur in the lanterns' internal wiring, creating risks of fire, burn injuries, and electric shock. The lanterns were sold at Lowe's stores under the Portfolio brand name (item number 253366) and at lighting showrooms (item number 44181). Affected lanterns measure 19.25 inches tall by 9.75 inches wide by 9.25 inches deep and contain a three-light candelabra base cluster. Part number "E194303" appears on the base plate and on a label attached to one of the light sockets.
Consumers who own these lanterns should immediately stop using them and contact Bel Air Lighting for a free replacement lantern.
