What happened

EDIC has recalled air mover/blower units used for drying floors in homes and other buildings because the internal electrical capacitor can fail and overheat, creating a fire hazard. The recalled units have "Aqua Dri" printed on top and model numbers "3004AD" or "3004ADxxx" (with additional letters) on the serial number plate on the back. Model numbers containing the letter "N" are not affected by this recall. The units are approximately 18 inches high by 18 inches long by 18 inches deep with a 25-foot yellow electrical cord.

Consumers who own a recalled air mover should immediately stop using it and contact EDIC for a free repair kit that users can install themselves.
