Disclosure: All assessments, scores, summaries, analysis, and recommendations generated by Plaintify's consumer tools are produced by artificial intelligence (AI) and are not prepared by a licensed attorney. This content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
How AI Is Used
Plaintify's consumer tools use artificial intelligence — including large language models (LLMs) and rule-based algorithms — to:
- Analyze user-submitted information about potential legal claims or insurance disputes.
- Generate preliminary case strength scores on a 0–100 scale.
- Identify potentially applicable legal theories, coverage provisions, and exclusions.
- Produce illustrative damage ranges based on limited submitted information.
- Suggest general informational next steps.
- Match users with attorneys in Plaintify's referral network.
What AI Cannot Do
AI-generated content has important limitations. Our tools cannot:
- Provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation.
- Account for all facts, evidence, or nuances of your specific situation.
- Evaluate witness credibility, local court practices, or judge/jury tendencies.
- Calculate your statute of limitations deadline.
- Predict the outcome of any legal proceeding.
- Substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney who has reviewed all relevant facts.
Accuracy and Limitations
AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, or outdated information. Scores and ranges are preliminary estimates based solely on the information you provide. A licensed attorney who reviews all relevant documents, facts, and circumstances may reach a very different conclusion. Always consult a licensed attorney before relying on any AI-generated assessment for legal decisions.
Third-Party AI Providers
Plaintify uses third-party AI providers, including Anthropic (maker of Claude), to generate assessments. Information you submit may be processed by these providers subject to their data processing agreements with Plaintify. Plaintify contractually prohibits these providers from using your data to train their AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.
