2022 FREIGHTLINER CASCADIA
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain 2022 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles because their Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) does not store fault codes when the vehicle is turned off for more than 5 seconds. This prevents the ABS diagnostic features and warning light from functioning properly, which can cause the driver to not be warned of a problem or prevent proper repair of the system. This defect increases the risk of a crash.
DTNA will repurchase affected vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 28, 2024. According to the recall record, affected consumers should contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712 and reference recall number FL943.
