What happened

Black Series Campers Inc. is recalling certain 2020-2021 trailers from its C and HQ series that are equipped with specific Curt emergency breakaway kits. The problem occurs when the breakaway system pin is pulled and not replaced, which can cause the system battery to become depleted and draw electricity from the main battery, potentially overloading the electrical system and increasing the risk of fire.

Black Series will notify owners and dealers will replace the affected components at no charge. The recall began on March 29, 2021. Affected consumers should contact Black Series customer service at 1-833-822-6737.
