General Motors is recalling certain 2020 and 2021 model year vehicles including Chevrolet Bolt EV, Blazer, Camaro, Colorado, Equinox, Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe; GMC Canyon, Sierra, and Yukon; and Cadillac Escalade models. The problem involves seat belt assemblies that may not be properly attached to the vehicle due to incorrect bolts being used at one or more fastening locations, which could prevent the seat belts from properly restraining occupants in a crash and increase injury risk.
