Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC is recalling certain 2020 Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque vehicles due to a software error in the instrument cluster. The speedometer and odometer displays may randomly switch between Miles Per Hour and Kilometers Per Hour without the driver making any changes, which could distract or confuse the driver and potentially lead to excessive speed and increased crash risk.
To remedy this issue, Land Rover will notify owners and dealers will update the vehicle software at no charge. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837 to arrange the software update. The recall number is N516.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020 Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument cluster to randomly alternate the speedometer and odometer units between Miles Per Hour (MPH) and Kilometers Per Hour (KM/H) without driver input to the display unit. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays."
