2020 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT; 2021 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC is recalling certain 2020-2021 Range Rover Sport vehicles equipped with 20-inch, 21-inch, or 22-inch wheels. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in these vehicles has incorrect recommended pressure settings in the instrument cluster, which means the TPMS warning light will not alert drivers when tire pressure drops to 25% below the cold inflation pressure specified on the tire placard. This defect could allow drivers to unknowingly operate the vehicle with dangerously low tire pressure.
Operating a vehicle with low tire pressure can cause tire tread separation, which increases the risk of a crash. To fix this issue, Land Rover will notify owners and dealers will update the instrument cluster software at no charge. The recall began November 2, 2020. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-369-1000 and reference recall number N494.
