What happened

Temsa is recalling certain 2013-2020 TS35C, TS35E, and TS45 buses because the instruction labels on emergency exit windows may not clearly explain how to open the push-out windows quickly. This labeling deficiency could delay emergency exits and increase the risk of injury during an emergency situation. The vehicles fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 217 for bus emergency exits.

Temsa will notify owners of the recall, which began October 16, 2019, and authorized dealers will inspect and replace the labels at no charge. Owners of affected buses should contact Temsa customer service at 1-407-271-8935.
