Temsa is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 TS30 motorcoaches and 2007-2014 TS35C motorcoaches because the emergency roof exit labels lack adequate instructions for exiting the bus during an emergency. This deficiency means the vehicles do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 217 requirements and could cause passengers to spend extra time trying to open the roof exit in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
To remedy this issue, Temsa will notify owners and dealers will replace the emergency exit labels on the roof exit at no charge. The recall began on September 4, 2014. Affected owners should contact CH Bus Sales, the US Agent for Temsa, at 1-877-858-3672.
