Maserati North America is recalling certain 2019 Levante vehicles equipped with full LED headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS) because the headlights may be misadjusted above the maximum height allowed by federal safety standards. When headlights are positioned too high, they can impair the visibility of oncoming drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Maserati will notify owners of affected vehicles, and authorized dealers will adjust the headlights at no charge. The recall began on August 20, 2019. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737 and reference recall number 387 to arrange service.

Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2019 Levante vehicles equipped with full LED headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS). The headlights may be misadjusted above the maximum height allowed, possibly impairing other driver's visibility on the roadway. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
