Is my product affected?

2018 KARMA REVERO

  • Brand KARMA

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Karma Automotive is recalling certain 2018 Karma Revero vehicles because the side curtain/head protection air bags may not deploy properly during a rollover crash. The issue stems from a rollover sensor system that was not enabled in these vehicles. Additionally, the vehicles lack an instrument cluster warning light for the system and do not include a description of the system in the owner's manual, which means they do not meet federal safety standards for ejection mitigation.

Karma will notify owners and dealers will replace the Airbag Control Unit with one that has rollover capability enabled, update the owner's manual, and provide a warning light—all at no charge. The recall began July 1, 2019. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Karma customer service at 1-855-288-6109 with recall number RC-19-84-01.
