POISON SPYDER CUSTOMS TIRE CARRIER

  • Brand POISON SPYDER CUSTOMS

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

TAP Worldwide, LLC is recalling certain Poison Spyder Customs-brand Tire Carriers (part number 19-62-030TP1) sold as aftermarket parts. These tire carriers may fail to provide a license plate lamp or center high-mounted brake light, and may also disable the vehicle's rear visibility camera system. Without a functioning brake light, other drivers may not receive adequate warning that the vehicle is slowing or stopping. If the rear camera is inoperable, the driver has reduced visibility of what is behind the vehicle. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.

TAP will notify owners, and dealers will replace the recalled Tire Carrier free of charge. The recall began on February 12, 2019. Affected consumers should contact TAP customer service at 1-888-376-1417.
