Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Eldorado National-California, Inc. is recalling certain 2017-2018 Arrivo, EZR Max BRT, and Passport buses because the back seat cushion may not remain locked in place when rotated from the stowed position to the upright position, particularly under load such as during a crash or sudden stop. This defect means the seat back could move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant. The vehicles fail to meet federal safety standards for seating systems and seat belt assembly anchorages.
Owners of affected buses have been notified, and dealers will inspect and repair the seats free of charge. The recall began on January 31, 2019. Owners should contact Eldorado National-California Customer Service at 1-909-591-9557 or Freedman Seating Company at 1-800-443-4540 to have their seats inspected and repaired.
